custom systems
Purpose-built playback, wireless, and backline systems designed for performance, reliability, and creative flow.
At Eights Creative, we design and build custom systems that balance precision engineering with real-world usability. Every project starts by understanding how you work, perform, and travel, then translating that into a system that feels seamless, looks professional, and performs with total consistency. From touring playback rigs to hybrid studio setups, our goal is to build solutions that disappear into your workflow and let your creativity take the lead.
Why Custom?
Purpose-Driven Design.
A playback rig or pedalboard isn’t just a collection of parts. It’s a system that supports the way you create, perform, and deliver sound. We approach every build as a collaboration, combining technical accuracy with practical experience from the stage, the studio, and the road.
Our Approach
Workflow-first engineering — We start with your goals and your environment, not a template.
Reliable performance — Clean signal paths, secure power, and tested redundancy are standard, not upgrades.
Built for travel — Compact, durable, and optimized for consistent performance anywhere in the world.
Professional finish — Every system is hand-built, fully labeled, and wired with clarity and intent.
Scalable and adaptable — Designed to evolve with your gear, shows, and creative direction.
Custom systems give you full control over your signal flow and stage experience. Nothing extra, nothing missing, exactly what you need.
Our Process
Designed. Built. Delivered.
Every project begins with a conversation. We learn about your workflow, your technical needs, and the challenges you face on stage or on tour. From there, we design, build, and test a system that’s tailored to your performance and production environment.
Discover – We define your goals, preferred gear, and use cases.
Design – We develop signal flow diagrams and hardware layouts that prioritize reliability and simplicity.
Build – Every connection, cable, and panel is assembled by hand and tested for consistency and safety.
Deliver – Your system arrives ready for use, labeled, documented, and fully tested.
Built in Toronto, used everywhere.
pre-built systems
Simplified Solutions.

Each one is designed with the same care and quality as our custom builds, making them ideal for rehearsals, rentals, or artists who want a reliable foundation to start from.
